So here it is thursday night already. Doing my usual picking up, washing bottles and getting laundry done for my trip. We decided that it would be easier if I just went ahead and flew with Lawson to the funeral. It is an8-9 hour drive to Vegas from here and we just were all there a couple weeks ago. I also want my kids to remember my Grandma the way she was when we saw her last.
I am totally dreading the plane ride! I am serioulsy freaking out. I am not a big fan of flying as it is. Not because I am afraid of crashing or anything like that, I just HATE sitting still for an hour and 20 minutes on the plane! Especially with a baby. He is a good baby, but flying on Southwest Airlines is like being hearded with cattle. It is nuts. I am just afraid that he might start crying and I wont be able to quiet him and people will shoot me daggar looks the whole time. Scary!
I am going to leave tomorrow evening and will come home Monday night. My poor husband we be running the show while I am gone. Hopefully he wont lose any of the kids!LOL He is awesome and I am sure all will be well. We have ballgames, a ward dinner and church . I am curious to see what he does with the crazy kids during Sacrament Meeting. !!??
Well I am off to continue my nightly chores. Hope everyone has a great weekend. Hopefully I will be able to still blog while I am gone. I hate missing all of the action!

I cant believe that it is already Wed !! Time just flies by. That just means that I am getting older, kids will be out of school soon and the heat is coming. So depressing. I do like it when the kids are out of school for the most part. It takes me some time to get use to them being home ALL day. I love the little boogers , but it is nice to get a few hours break from them a day. I dont EVER get a break from all of them, but that is ok. I think that when the day comes that all of them are in school full time, I will be mighty lonely!!

Today was my lunch day. We did it a little differen today. Instead of meeting somewhere for lunch we did Cheescake Factory takeout and came back to my house to hang out. It was so fun. The kids played and the moms visited. We have such fun together. I look forward to it every week. After picking up the kids from school, I put the baby to sleep and took advantage of him napping a got a ton of laundry folded and put away. It is such a great feeling! Usually Lawson is Catnapper Bob, but he was a great baby and slept for a couple hours. Tonight we have Court of Honor. It is scout week I guess. Last night we had Pack Meeting and now this. The joys od having boys.

Well I just got off the phone with my sister with some sad news. My Grandma passed away this afternoon. She was in her 90s. She was totally with it mentally but just really deaf. Growing up she lived in Hawaii , so we didnt get to see her that often. For the past 6 years, she has lived in Las Vegas in an assisted living place. This past week she developed Pnumonia(sp)? and went downhill from there. I am really happy that we decided to go to Vegas for Spring Break. We were able to hang out with her and visit with her. I am grateful for that. So I guess it is back in the car for us to Vegas-I wish it wasnt so stinkin far! I toy with the idea of just me going, but this could be a great opportunity for the kids to see realatives that we havent seen for a long time and probably wont see again!

Well it is off to get ready for Court of Honor. Hope everyone has a grat night and enjoys AI. No pressure tonight since Sanjaya is Bybya!!

Today has been a good day so far. I was able to sleep in and that always starts my day off great! I headed to Target today. Landon has been saving his money for a Nintendo Ds and I ran and got it for him today. He loves it. I am still recoving from my day at church yesterday. I felt like I wanted to become inactive after my Sacrament meeting from you know where!
My kids were horrid! All of them! I felt like the ward freak show. Lawson is getting to the age where he doesnt want to sit in his car seat like a good little boy. He wants to be where the action is. Hayden was all over the place or he wanted to sit on my lap. I only have so much lap to share! Lawson had pooped and I needed to take him out to change his diaper. I hate having to get up during Sacrament meeting in the first place because that means that I have to leave all of the other hooligans all by themselves. Not a good idea. When I left the other kids went wacko. I guess Judson was punching Bowen and Landon was chugging out of Haydens sippy cup and Bowen and Dallin were doing something. It was crazy. I felt like I wanted to go crawl in a hole. It kills me that my husband is up on the stand oblivious to what is going on. Dont get me wrong. I am so thankful that I do have a husband that is worthy and able to serve in the Bishopric, but it is so hard sometimes for me. I know that I am not the only one out in the world who has to do this every week on her own, but MAN , it is HARD!! Ok enough complaining. I am lucky though to have a lot of friends in the ward who feel my pain and try to help.
Tonight for family night we are going to be finishing up the boys rockets for pack meeting tomorrow and maybe go to Costco. It is fun to go together as a family, even though we get alot of stares from people and I end up spending a ton more when my husband goes! Well I hope you all have a great night!

I thought I would take advantage of this RARE moment to myself to write. It has been a crazy couple of days. Yesterday I stayed home and did some cleaning. I am so proud of myself for what I accomplished. I was getting ready for Landons Bday party. We went lowkey this year and I let him invite about 5 friends over to have pizza and then we took them to a movie. It was wackoville over here! At one point of the afternoon, I had my six kids, plus the 5 for the parry, Lucas (Holly went to run a couple of errands) and Dallins freind Steven. Helllooooo! By myself!! Chris was suppose to be home by 5 to help out, but didnt m,ake and appearance until almost 6. He said he was caught up at work, but i think that translates to "I am really golfing but dont want to get busted" Whatever. Needless to say I was not a happy camper. I still need to get that "story" . We ate pizza and then we all headed to the movies . Luckily Holly was able to watch Hayden and Lawson, so I could go . Thanks Holly!! We went and saw "Are We There Yet?" I thought it was pretty funny. We managed not to lose any of the 9 kids that were with us. Yeah us!! After taking some of the kids home, I headed to Hollys to get the kiddies. You should have seen the look on her face, when she opened the door. SoOO funny! She looked tired. She had the baby in a sling and said"I forgot that you dont get alot done around the house with a baby" UH! Yah!! Welcome to my world!!! It was pretty comical. It was nice to come home to a "quiet" house after the party. Today is just a day of house chores and ball games. Nothing too exciting. I think that I have a little bit of Trishitus today! Thanks Trish! I think your blog jinxed me!
I hope everyone has a great weekend and Sunday. I feel inactive. I havent been to church in a couple weeks, between conference and traveling. It will be nice to go again.!

MY TOES.........................
Let us all have a moment of silence in memory of Sanjaya.......... Ok thats enough! I am glad that the American population is not as dumb as I was thinking we were for keeping him on as long as we did. The funny thing is that he will probably get a recording deal and make a trillion dollars like William Hung (She Bangs. She Bangs) . Crazy!
I feel like I have not had a moment to myself to do my blogging. My little man has been cutting his first teeth and has been demanding more of my time. How dare him!! For the past couple of nights he has taken some of my much needed beauty sleep from me. I cant complain. He has been sleeping through the night pretty much since day one, I guess I have gotten spoiled. He has been spitting up on me and everything around him. UGGGG! Who doesnt love the smell of baby barf!!
Yesterday I had my weekly lunch with my friends at you guessed it ...PF CHANGS. What a shock. It was fun. It was going to be a 40 minute wait so we decided to sit outside and eat on the patio. Can we say COLD! It has been a little chilly here the past few days but we braved it. They put on the patio heaters and that totally helped, but I wasnt able to fully appreciate my Diet Cokes because it was too dang chilly. It didnt stop me from shoving a ton of food in my mouth though. LOL
Yesterday was a pretty laid back day. We had Bowens game to go freeze at and I had to take Dallin to YM. That is about it. Today I plan to just kick back and clean up my house a bit. It is sooooo hard to keep it CLEAN with a zillion kids. I always try to keep it picked up. It bugs me when there is STUFF on the floor, but to really keep it deep down clean is hard. I try and that is what is important.
I am sitting here looking at my toes. If anyone knows me they know that I have buttugly feet. I found these glue on toenails that look totally real! All you do is glue them on your toes and it looks like you just had a french manicure. They are awesome. I get my nails done and I dont want to sit for another hour getting my toes done to, so these totally work. I even turned my SIL on to them. She even added a decal to them-so cute.
Well I feel like the Seinfeld of blogging---a blog about nothing. Lol
Have a great day!

Today is my Landons 9th birthday!! I cant believe how fast the time has gone. It seems like yesterday when he was in such a hurry to get here that he made his momma have him with NO epidural. If anybody knows me, I am PRO EPIDURAL all the way. I went into labor in the middle of the night (as with the rest of them) and about 35 minutes after getting to the hospital he was here. As painful as it was, he was worth every contraction.... He is the sweetest boy. He is such a great helper. I can ask him anything and he does it without any complaining. He is so smart and has a fun personality. When I asked him what he wanted to do for his Bday he informed me very seriously that he wanted his party on his bday and then the following Saturday he "wants to go to Hawaii". Yah! that will happen. He also informed us one day that he was tired of his name and wants to be called "SlipperyBob". I am so lucky to have this sweet little boy in our family. Happy Birthday Lanard Bananard.!

I cant figure out how to write words next to the pictures either-Can you say DUMMY??? In the pictures from top to bottom are

All of the older kids on the family go-cart
Addisyn and Hayden
My mom and Lawson and Ella (she is my niece and is 6 weeks OLDER then my moose boy)
Camille and Lawson (such a good babysitter)
Hayden and Ethan

I couldnt figure out how to get the pictures with the post. I still have a ton to learn about posting things!
We made it!! We managed to make it back home with 6 kids and 2 adults still alive and kicking! We had a great time surprisingly. We stayed at the inlaws house with 11 kids and 5 adults. All of the kids got along great and had a fun time hanging out with cousins for a week. We stayed pretty busy. I will spare everyone the day by day playback and just list things that we did. My sweet husband took all 7 of the older kids go carting in the desert by himself a couple of times. They had a great time . We went to the Discovery Museum, Laser tag, bowling, movies, golfing and swimming at my brothers house.
I was also able to visit with my Aunt Wini who was in town visiting. It was great to see her again. The last time I saw her was 7 years ago at my Grandmas funeral. We all went shopping and all of the adults went to PF Changs for dinner on Friday night. It was a great vacation and I loved going to Vegas in the spring instead of the summer where we all bake and sweat like pigs. It actually got a little nippy and very windy a couple of days. We might just make it a regular vacation for us. Well I had better get back to reality land. I have to make dinner and despite the mega laundry I did at my in laws, I still have a TON to do here at home. I also need to catch up on everyones blog. I am sure I missed alot of action! LOL

Saturday, April 07, 2007

We are off like a hurd of turtles!!!! We were trying to get out by at least 9. Yah right! We didnt roll out of bed until then. It is now 9:40 and we are just tying up loose ends . I will be checking in. I dont think I can go a week without blogging or my email. I am going to document the drive. I will take a before, middle and end trip picture. We will see if there are fewer children (or parents) at the end!!LOL. I hope everyone has a great Easter!

Thursday, April 05, 2007

Ok! So I have few minutes of quiet to post. I need to vent out my frustrations somewhere! I seriously have about 20 kids in my front yard! The baby is sleeping and they keep ringing my doorbell and driving me nuts! I dont know why my house is always the "party"house. I am not one of those sweet neighborhood moms thet make koolaid or whatever but they love to be over here. As if I dont have enough at my house!! Ok I feel a little better. I am glad my kids have friends to play with and I am glad they like to be at my house, I guess I wish that they would just stay outside for a bit a run off some of their energy! Such a silly rant, but I feel better. I think I am PMSing!! LOL So today I ran back to Costco to get a couple more Camis. They are so cute and long! Being tall, it has always been hard to find shirts that fit my Amazon body. So I think I grabbed one of every color. I have dinner in the crockpot and a load of laundry going so I am good. I am tring to get stuff ready for our trip this weekend. I am not looking forward to it anymore. I love Chris family, dont get me wrong, but we are planning on staying with his parents this trip. We usually stay with my mom and dad, but my aunt will be in town and I dont think my mom wants 6 kids running around her house while she "visits". That is another story. Hi mom and dad!! Anyway, we just found out that his sister is going to be staying at his parents house also. She has 5 kids. Helloooooo! That is ALOT of kids in one house!! I love his sister, and we have fun together, but it will be a little too much togetherness! Chris isnt too thrilled. He is so easy going and has a "whatever" attitude that I love, but it is funny to hear him sort of gripe about his sister being there. Maybe he is PMSing too!! So who knows what will happen.

I was thinking earlier about grwing up and the easter traditions that I had growing upa dn the ones I have carried on. It is kind of sad that I havent really carried on that many! I have no Easter Decorations out!! What kid of mom am I? I grew up with my mom totally dekking out our house with decorations for all holidays. She still does. I just really dont think about getting them out. I really need to change. Sometimes I think that it is ok, because then they can really focus on the real reason for this season. I would love to hear about any of your family traditions that you have. It is always fun to hear how people celebrate the holidays! Sorry to sound like "Debbie Downer" I really am a happy person! Have a good day.

Today started off crazy!!! Today was late day Wed. The kids dont have to be to school until 9:15, so we get to sleep in! My favorite thing! At around 8:45 our power went out. I asked a couple of neighbors they said that it was a maintanance check and the whole neighborhood was going to be out for 4 hours!!! I guess I should read some of those annoying papers on my door once in awhile! LOL . I was so bummed. How could I live for 4 hours without my computer, tv and phone??? Well I lived to tell about it. My hair is dirty, (no blowdryer) Clothes wrinkled and makeup on funky, but it made me appreciate those pioneers even more. As I was walking out the door to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate hayden and Lucas Bday the power came on. Go figure. We had a good time at Chucksters. The kids played and moms chit chatted. Love those days! I just did some laundry that didnt even put a dent in my pile. Good thing there are some good shows on tonight(hopefully bye bye for Sonjaya) to keep me entertained while i fold my huge pile of clothes. Well I am off to the ballfield for Bowens ball game. I love weekday games because they always fall right at dinner time so we end up eating there. No cooking for me tonight!!!!! Yeah! Just good old greasy hot dogs. Nothings too good for my boys! LOL

Today is Haydens birthday!! This is the 3rd time I have typed this blog, it is getting shorter each time I retype it!! He is such a sweet boy. He drove me crazy the first couple of years as he has a TON of energy and his momma does not! He is my first boy so far to have ever clibed out of his crib. He started that at about 16 months and since then, naptime was history! He has been a budding artist on almost every wall in the house including my leather couches. I have had to boobytrap all of my doors so that my poor neighbors dont have to bring him back to me after escaping my "kungfoo grip" I really do watch my children. All that being said, he is so much fun. He loves to sing, play cars, watch his favorite shows over and over and over, and loves his "brudders" .

Great weekend! Saturday was the typical day of games and chores around the house. Chris and I made the decision today to give our dog Lila away. I know that sounds horrible, but we are just not ready for the dog commitment yet. She has been a good dog, but our backyard looks like the ghetto. When we first moved in there were pretty flowers around the pool and grass area, but since we had her she has chewed them up and she digs holes everywhere. We havent been able to utilize our backyard that much and with little kids we need to. Hopefully we will find her a good home.

Chris and Dallin went to Priesthood broadcast and I cleaned and washed up the Exersaucer for the baby. I am sure there are nicer ones out on the market now but this one will do. I think he will be the 4th kid that has used it. He looks so cute in it.

Sunday we watched conference. It was so great. I look forward to getting the Ensign edition comes out so I can read it again. The kids were pretty good. We played Conference Bingo popped popcorn and afterward we made Cinamon Rolls. So good! I might as well have strapped them right on to my thighs because that is where they will end up I am sure. Well I need to go and get my house picked up a bit, so I can relax. I have a busy week ahead. We are going to Vegas on Saturday and that means I have to get clothes ready for them to pack up. I hate getting ready for trips, but one we are there it is fun. Trisha and Andrea, I am waiting to hear if you want to party in Vegas...............

I feel like I have rattled off a bunch of whooha here but one last thing... I am going to try and post a picture of the "accident" we had here at the house. Hayden has this little toy Porche car that he rides in and he parked it on the street curb like a real car. My friend christine was over and when she was leaving ran it over. She felt so bad, but I dont think Hayden has realized that it was smashed to smithereens yet!! So funny! Enjoy the rest of the night!

Today was a great day. After I got the kiddies off to school and the baby back to sleep, I laid down on the couch to have a little cat nap. That is all it was, because Lawson didnt take his usual 2-3 hour morning nap. I love the time that I get to spend alone with Hayden in the mornings. He is so fun. He can be a little stinker sometimes, but the older he gets he is so cute. It is hard to believe that he is turning 3 next week. Time has flown. I cant even believe that Lawson is almost 4 months. It is time for another one. LOL I think my husband would kill me. Dont get me wrong, we LOVE Lawson soo much, but he was willing to stop after #5. When I first found out I was pregnant with Lawson I couldnt tell him for a few days. I had dreams that he drove me off a cliff!!!!!! So funny. he is an awesome dad, I am lucky to have him. I probably would have only had 1 kid if he wasnt such a great help. Anyway, back to my day. We had our girls lunch today instead of Wed. We went to Pf changs. We were going to go to Cheesecake, but it was a 50 minute wait-I dont think so! We always have a great time chit chatting and having fun. Tonight I was able to go to the Temple with Holly. It was her ward temple night. It was great to go. It will be awhile before CHris and I can go together, since the baby is so small, so we have to go in shifts I guess until he gets older. After the temple we went to Cheesecake factory. We were bound to get that in today! it was about 9:30 when we got there and it was packed!! Crazy loons out eating that late. Now here I am blogging. I should be in bed, but this is the only time I can type without interuption. Well we have a busy day tomorrow. Games and General Conference!! Hope everyone enjoys their weekend.

Thursday, March 29, 2007

Ok , So I just remembered one reason why I dont like the baseball season- SUNFLOWER SEEDS!!! I think that when people eat them and spit the seeds out is soooo disgusting. Last year, a lady in front of me was eating them and spit the seed out and it landed right on my arm!! Gross. I am probably the only person in the world who has such harsh feelings about a seed, but I do. I think it is as gross as when people spit out chewing tobacco! Ok, I think I can go on now that I got that off my chest.
Today I had to run to the mall. I needed to get something on my watch fixed, so that is what I did. My house is a pig sty, but at least I can tell time correctly.
So what did everyone think about AI last night.? I woke up with a headache this morning from pounding my head against my fist last night. Mind boggling! Poor curly had to go and there sits Sanjaya with his smug little face. Ok and did anyone else think that Lost was a little---Lost! What was up with that random couple? The thought of them being burried alive was freaky.

So we are palnning on heading to Vegas for Spring break. This will be a first for us since we have lived here in California. We usually go during the summer and around Christmas. We decided to go early this year so we wouldnt melt. There is not a whole lot of action that goes on when we go to vegas. This is how a typical conversation goes between my sisters and I trying to plan something to do. "What do you want to do today??" "I dont know, what do you want to do ?" Next day "What do you want to do today?" "I dont know what do you want to do"? You get the picture. We are all very indecisive. It is nice to see everyone though and we do end up having fun. I am lucky because most of chris family is in Vegas and mine is too, so we get it all done in one visit. Well I need to get going on dinner. We are having Taco Salad. It sounds really yummy right now, enen though I had a salad from Baja Fresh today. I hope everyone enjoys their Thursday. TGIF tomorrow!!!!!!

Tuesday, March 27, 2007

You cant really tell by my lousy picture, but it has been a little stormy here today. I love this weather. Some people think that it is gloomy and depressing. I think it is great. This has always been my favorite season of the year. Growing up in Vegas, it was either hotter than snot or butt cold, so the few days that it felt like Spring I loved. It was such a shock when we moved out her almost 11 years ago. People were actually playing at parks or taking walks, just enjoying the outside! That never happened in Las Vegas. You stayed indoors so you wouldnt melt! I am getting ready to head to pack meeting. UUUGGG! I know I should enjoy going to these, but they are kind of unorganized so it goes on and on and on! I should complain because I am just glad that it isnt me in charge. Today I had my VT interview. I feel like such a slacker. I have not been VTing since I had the baby. I know I should and I need to get on the ball and go. After that I went to ----No not Costco surprisingly, but to Old Navy. They are having 2 for 20 jeans for boys. You really cant beat that. My kids go through jeans like they were tissue paper. What is up with that?? Drives me nuts!! Well that is about it here. Nothing too exciting. We are gobbling up our dinner and out the door to Pack Meeting-FUN FUN FUN!

Monday, March 26, 2007

I survived my slump from the other day!!!!!!!!!Yeah! Luckily it didnt last too long. My husband and I didnt end up having a date night, but we went out for dinner anyway. All of us! Actually we were one short. Dallin was golfing with his buddy. The weather has been so nice lately, we are letting him take advantage of it. We went to a place called Tomatinas. It is really good. I get their Piadine. It is this HUGE pizza type crust that is brick oven cooked and I get it topped with caesar salad. So good. It is funny when we take all of the kids with us place. We look like a freak show. People stare at us with such funny looks. It cracks me up. I then went to the store to stock up on my tabloids-(Fridays are when the new ones come out.) That was pretty much it.
Saturday we had ball games and just did stuff around the house. Pretty laidback. I love those days. Sunday was Fast and testimony meeting. I am sure it was all around due to conference next week. I actually got to hear some of testimonies. My kids were pretty good. I dont know what it is going to be like when Lawson is more disruptive, but we will cross that bridge when we get there. Right now he just sits in his car seat. I have to rock it back and forth to get him to sleep in it. I probably look like a nutty lady rocking it back and forth for an hour but whatever works! I think that one of these Sundays if the kids are bad I am going to send them up with dad. He looks too comfortable up there on the stand!
Today I went to costco-AGAIN! I wanted to check out a clock that they had there. It wasnt what I was looking for, but I ended up leaving with a ton of stuff anyway. I was just there Friday hello! Tonight was FHE. A group of us in our ward get together twice a month and have FHE together. It is alot of fun. The kids have a blast. We origanally started it for a family in our ward. Her husband is off in Iraq for a year and a half. I dont know how she does it. I would go nuts. She is awesome. She has a 13 year old daughter and 8 year old son. It is a fun group of families. Next time I will post a picture. I dont know why I dont think about all of these great photo ops, I truly am getting better at taking picutes. Blogging has helped me to journal more and to take more pictures. Well I need to get my hoodlums off to bed. I hear the thumping of bodies on the floor. I think wrestle mania has begun again. Goodnight!
